Farm School Camp For Superheroes, August 6 - 10, 2012
That's right all of you Farm Schoolers who have aged out of our traditional camp programs, this one is for YOU! After a magical pilot year, we've decided to offer a Superheroes program once again. This week offers folks the opportunity to continue to build friendships and do great work on the Farm, all the while taking on more responsibility and having more freedom than possible in the sessions for younger kids. We hope, in the course of the week, to get out and about on the ridge-top a bit, eat tons of wonderful food, and accomplish a big central project, all the while soaking up the beauty of a New England summer.
Here’s what you need to know:
Many of you have been coming to The Farm School for years, as students and campers. Now is the time for you to become true partners in the work of the farm, to give more to the program and to the land than you ever have before.
- for folks currently in 11th grade or older
- 5 day duration, August 6 - 10, 2012
- $350 for the week, with a $100 non-refundable deposit.

Help make your mark at The Farm School this summer!Camp for current 5th - 10th Graders
Each summer, The Farm School provides children with an opportunity to be at the farm outside of a school visit. During the extended summer sessions, children have the time to get to experience the Farm School on a more personal level. The programs are shepherded by our experienced staff of farmers and teachers.
For children who have attended during the school year, we will be doing much the same as you remember - chores, work projects, crafts, tracking - with the addition of an afternoon swim at a nearby state park. For all of you, new and returning, here are some of the things you can look forward to: milking cows, gardening, building, hiking, swimming, cooking, caring for animals, working in the woods, singing, haying, star gazing, shooting hoops, sawing timber, throwing frisbees and enjoying the summer breezes with new and old friends.
- For GIRLS ONLY currently in 5th - 8th grades (deposit of $375 required)
Session I: June 18 - 22 - - - - - NEW THIS YEAR! - For boys & girls currently in 5th - 7th grades (deposit of $375 required)
Session II: June 25 - 29
Session III: July 2 - 6 - For boys & girls currently in 6th - 8th grades (deposit of $375 required)
Session IV: July 9 - 13
Session V: July 16 - 20 - For boys & girls currently in 8th - 10th grades (deposit of $750 required)
Session VI: July 23 - August 2
*****Session VI is FULL for GIRLS. We will be starting a wait list, please send in registration form if interested in being added to wait list.
Tuition is $750 for the 5 day sessions and $1,500 for the 11 day session. Deposits are refunded ONLY IF we are able to fill your withdrawn spot.
